Melhor Pday Da Missão

This week was super awesome and we ended with the best pday of the mission so far.

This week we have been preparing a family to get baptized and helping them to stop drinking coffee. As we have continued to go to their house, they have been more willing to participate in the lesson. The first week we were there the kids didn't participate much and their parents made them come listen, but after a week or two they are always the first ones sat down ready to hear the lessons. Its been super cool to see there progress and I hope we can help them be baptized this week.

I went on a division this week to the lzs area again. I was able to talk to some of the people that I taught there last time which was awesome. The goal of the division was to mark as many people as possible for baptism. So the entire day the only lesson we taught was baptism, which worked. We were able to put six people on a dates for baptisms and one of them even got baptized the next day. In this division we were pretty much in the middle of the jungle. We were walking on a mile long set of train tracks in the pitch black in the jungle which was awesome. There were like three trains that came by super fast which was super cool, but we almost died a couple times haha. Also finally saw some of the cool animals in brazil. We found a turtle, frogs bigger than my head, monkeys, dogs, and then dogs eating monkeys. And to close the division we ate steak with the elders quorm and played dominos. Safe to say it was a pretty good division.

Today's pday was awesome. It was a zone pday so we convinced President to let us play soccer. We rented out a turf soccer field that was sweet. It even had artificial rain to keep you cool while you were playing. We played soccer for about 4 hours and then everyone was dead. I got the worst sunburn of my life and can hardly walk now after not playing soccer for a year and a half. After soccer we ate at burger king and i basically ordered the entire menu. And then we went bowling for an hour. We decide to live it up at zone pday becuase two of the elders in our zone are going home on Tuesday.

Overall this week was super good and we have been able to help a ton of people progress, while having a ton of fun in the process.

Até próxima semana
