6 Meses Na Melhor Missão No Mundo

I feel like I'm living in a time loop here in Brasil because everyday is pretty much the same and I've been in the safe area for 6 months. But I'm still loving the mish and learning a ton.

This week I hit 6 months which is crazy. I feel like I was just barely packing my bags to go to the mtc, but apparently we are already 25% of the way done. I have often found myself wishing the time away, but lately realizing that one day the end will come, I have changed my perspective a little. I still have a ton of time to learn, grow, and help the people of Recife find the gospel. So if the time goes by a little slower than that is awesome.

Another awesome thing that happend was we are finally going to bapitize a mother and a son that we have been teaching for almost 5 weeks now. We normally would have stopped teaching them awhile ago, but me and my comp had a feeling that we should countinue and it work. I normally don't count my chickens before they hatch, but this is a certain thing. We have had interviews, signed papers, and everything. I'm super excited to baptize this family because they kinda feel like my family at this point. We have vist them every single day for 35 days and I know them super good. Its super awesome to make relationships with people through the gospel.

Today we had the opportunity to go to the temple and do baptisms. We took our recent convert with us and he entered the temple and baptized both of us. It was a super spiritual and emotional experience to see the change in his life after his baptism and throughout his progression in the church.

Here are some cool things that happend this week:
-Taught a lady with 22 dogs
-Snuck 5 pounds of meat out of outback steakhouse
-Called a serial killer that supposedly killed 10 people
- and burned all the cockroachs in our house alive

This week was defintely super slow but we had a lot of awesome moments. Shoot me and email and I'll respond on pday.
