2025
Hello everyone. Sorry I missed the last couple of emails. The last weeks have been pretty hetic between christmas, new years, and the end of the transfer coming. The last couple of weeks have definitely been slow because everyone was drunk and asleep during the holidays and now they're working twice as much to make up for it. That being said, there have been no shortage of miracles in that time.
One miracle I saw was directly caused by listening in the spirit. As most of you know President told us to move houses about a week and a half ago. Well the day after new years I realized that i had forgotten a few things there. So when we were knocking doors close to the our old house, we decided to grab my things real fast. When we open the door we saw that the sliding glass door to the balcony of our apartment was completely shattered. This was super crazy because we had no clue what could have caused this. After looking for what went through the door we found a bullet that hit the metal leg of my desk and stopped. Its super cool to see how the lord protects his servants. I know that the lord told my mission President that we should move for a reason. And if we listen to the promptings of the spirit we will never go wrong.
The second miracle that has happened was yesterday. We had a division with the LZs in our zone. The are super cool, super experienced, and work like dogs. Not going to lie I didn't really want to do the division because after 9 days without a pday I was spent. As we went into though, I felt motivated to be better and to match the energy of the LZ i was with Elder Stoddard. We found 3 elect people after having a drought of people for the last week. One of the people we found we taught the plan of salvation to the first contact. That may seem normal, but for our missions culture its usually always baptism or the book of Mormon that we talk about first. Anyway the lesson ended with a 20 year old girl that we found crying and telling us that see know that our gospel is true and asking how she can be a member. The division I had yesterday truly taught me that by being excited to do the work of the lord regardless of how tired or burnt out we feel will always have its blessing. I now that as we keep trying to live our lives as Jesus would thay ultimately we will see miracles and the fruit of our labors.
This transfer seemed to fly by. I feel like it just started. My comp and I are determined to end this last week with awesome numbers and to see lots of miracles in the lives of our investigators and in our own.
It will be interesting to see what happens on Monday as to how transfers will work out. I wrote in my weekly card to President today that i really want to stay in my area and watch my investigators progress and be baptized, bur who knows what will happen. I for sure go where the lord wants me too.
Shoot me and email and I'll get back to you on my pday. Thanks to everyone for your continued support. I invited everyone to look for the miracles in your lives. I know that if we focus on the lord that miracles will come no matter how small or insignificant they seem.
Até próxima semana
