ELDER FOSTAAAHH

Hello family and friends. I hope your last week went as well as mine. This week was definitely the best in the mission. This week we found two teenagers that we played soccer with for like 45 minutes anf after we shared a message with them. They seemed very interested in the church and English class that we have there which was awesome. I was finally able to teach something I know to them, english. I had a division this week with Elder Tumbaco which was way fun but a little difficult. He speaks portuguese, but what he doesnt know in Portuguese he says in Spanish. Because I dont know much portuguese and even less spanish it was a little difficult to communicate that day, but it was a lot better than I expected. I had another division with Elder Guerra which was awesome. We got to go to the temple with Diogo and Vallenson which was super awesome. The say "ELDER FOSTAAAHH" like ten times everytime they talk to me which is pretty funny. They both asked me to confirm them next week at their baptisms which is awesome. The last thing I did this week was gave another talk in church. Ive been in brazil for two months and have talked twice in church which must be some kind of record. The second one also went a lot better than the first. 


This week I bought some "JEWLETTES" which are glasses that are apparently super hype here even though they look freakin goofy. They have helped me find a ton of investigators though which I think is what the PMG is talking about when it says keep all your lines in the water.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone. It still doesnt feel like its Christmas Eve today, but whether I'm ready for it or not Christmas is coming and going. This week for me has been super busy and I have learned a lot. I went on three different divisions this week and every time I went to a different area, so I only worked in my area for about a day and a half. My first division was on Tuesday with Elder Couch. He is american and just got here 2 weeks ago, so he's still working on the portuguese. His area is more country than mine so it was super awesome. This was an awesome opportunity to put my portuguese to the test because my comp for the day didnt know anything. It was super awesome to see the progress I have made in the language and to communicate pretty much normally with everyone we taught. The next division was with our LZs. Melhor Pday Da Missão

This week was super awesome and we ended with the best pday of the mission so far. This week we have been preparing a family to get baptized and helping them to stop drinking coffee. As we have continued to go to their house, they have been more willing to participate in the lesson. The first week we were there the kids didn't participate much and their parents made them come listen, but after a week or two they are always the first ones sat down ready to hear the lessons. Its been super cool to see there progress and I hope we can help them be baptized this week. I went on a division this week to the lzs area again. I was able to talk to some of the people that I taught there last time which was awesome. The goal of the division was to mark as many people as possible for baptism. So the entire day the only lesson we taught was baptism, which worked. We were able to put six people on a dates for baptisms and one of them even got baptized the next day. Mais Uma Semana Na Missão

Whats up everyone. This week was very repetitive, but I also promised my mom that I would write another email again. This week we worked super hard and went on a division with the lz's. We had a lot of cool experiences and put some people on dates for baptisms this sunday. We have set huge goals to end off this transfer. Its crazy a transfer has already come and gone.
