Três Semanas Boas

Hey everyone. Its been about three weeks since I wrote an email, but things still have been going good.  Since the last email a lot has happened.  We had transfers three weeks ago. I stayed in Moreno and got a new comp Elder Numbers. I got my first american comp in the mission and we're pretty similar. He's from Utah and plays soccer. He's on his second to last transfer and Ive been learning a lot from him before he leaves the mission. This week we were able to baptize Rafael. His mom and brother were baptized the week before I got here. We have been working with him for a little over 8 weeks now. Despite having a ton of challenges and doubts he finally made it to the baptism day. It was a super awesome experience. The day before and even leading up to the batism he was a pretty unexcited, but as soon as he came up out of the water it was like a switch flipped. He started to talk with all the members, asked about being in the ward group chat, and became a lot more involved ...

Conferência Geral

This week the was the last week of this transfer which flew by. Also it ended with the general conference which motivated us a ton to be able to help people listen to the prophets and apostles. We started off this week focusing on a family that we had marked for baptism. I have pushed more for baptism with this family than anyone in my entire mission. It's gotten to the point were everytime I show up they ask what more I going to teach them about baptism. Unfortunately they weren't baptized this week, but they did watch general conference so hopefully they got some answers and will be ready soon. One other family we found this week is a family of inactives that has 4 people that aren't baptized yet. They live in like the middle of the jungle, but the are super cool só were going to keep teaching them. There has been a ton of cool things I've done this week. 1. I was on a division and my comp for the day went to take a shower. When he went in he shut the door to hard and...

Melhor Pday Da Missão

This week was super awesome and we ended with the best pday of the mission so far. This week we have been preparing a family to get baptized and helping them to stop drinking coffee. As we have continued to go to their house, they have been more willing to participate in the lesson. The first week we were there the kids didn't participate much and their parents made them come listen, but after a week or two they are always the first ones sat down ready to hear the lessons. Its been super cool to see there progress and I hope we can help them be baptized this week. I went on a division this week to the lzs area again. I was able to talk to some of the people that I taught there last time which was awesome. The goal of the division was to mark as many people as possible for baptism. So the entire day the only lesson we taught was baptism, which worked. We were able to put six people on a dates for baptisms and one of them even got baptized the next day. In this division we were prett...
